ျမန္မာလူမ်ိဳးမ်ားအတြက္ ဂ်ပန္ ႏႈတ္ဆက္ စကား ေလ့လာျခင္း
Good morning. (Hi.) = Ohayou gozaimasu
ေကာင္းေသာ မနက္ခင္းပါ ။ အိုဟယုိ ဂိုဇုိင္းမတ္စ္ ။
Good afternoon. (Hi.) = Konnichi wa.
ေကာင္းေသာ ေန႔လည္ခင္းပါ ။ ခြန္နီခ်ိဝ
Good evening. (Hi.) = Konban wa.
ေကာင္းေသာ ညေနခင္းပါ ။ ခြန္ဘန္းဝ
Good night. = Oyasuminasai. (Lit. Have a good rest.)
(Said before bedtime.)
ေကာင္းေသာ ည ပါ ။ အိုယာစုမိနစုိင္း
It's been a long time. = Ohisashiburi desu.
မေတြ႔တာ ၾကာၿပီေနာ္ ။ အုိဟိစရွိဘုရိ ဒက္စ္
How do you do? = Hajimemashite.
(Said when meeting someone
for the first time.)
ေတြ႔ရတာ ဝမ္းသာပါတယ္ ။ ဟိဂ်ိမဲ မရွိတဲ
I ask that you treat me kindly. = Douzo yoroshiku onegaishimasu.
(This is said often when you
meet someone for the first time
or when you've asked them to do
you some favor.)
ေတြ႔ရတာ ဝမ္းသာပါတယ္ ။ ဒိုးဇုိ ေယာေရာရွိခု အိုနဲဂအိရွိမတ္စု
Are you well? = Ogenki desu ka.
ေနေကာင္းလား ။ အုိဂဲန္းခိ ဒက္စု ကား
Yes, I'm fine. = Hai, genki desu.
ဟုတ္ကဲ့ ေကာင္းပါတယ္ ။ ဟိုက္ ဂဲန္းခိ ဒက္စ္
Goodbye. = Sayounara./Sayonara.
(Sayonara is not normally used when
leaving one's own home unless one is
very long time.)
ႏႈတ္ဆက္ပါတယ္ ။ ဂြတ္ဘုိင္ ဆာယိုးနာရာ / ဆာယုိနာရာ
